Directions & Accessibility
Buy Rainbow will be held at The Paddington Town Hall, located at 249 Oxford Street (near corner of Oatley Road), Paddington 2021.
We at the SGLBA, as well as our major sponsor the City of Sydney, aim for sustainability in all our events. We therefore would strongly encourage you to use public transport to access the venue.
The train stations closest to the venue are Edgecliff, Central and Bondi Junction, from where a short cab/rideshare will get you to the Hall. Should you enjoy the walk, it’s approximtely 30 minutes from Edgecliff and Central stations.
The Hall also has a bus stop at its doorstep, serviced by lines 333, 352 and 440.
The venue has limited parking: dedicated coach drop-off spaces are located adjacent to Paddington Town Hall.
The nearest commercial parking station is located at The Entertainment Quarter, Lang Road, Moore Park. Phone 02 8353 2661. Website: wilsonparking.com.au
Wheelchair access to Paddington Town Hall is via the lifts in front of the Chauvel Cinema entrance on Oatley Road. Wheelchair amenities are located in the main bathrooms on the ground foyer level as well as in the back of house area off the Grand Hall on level 1.
A quiet space is located in the ‘bar’ area of the venue and the balcony will be open to access.
Should you require any assistance on the day, please approach one of our friendly volunteers in the ‘Buy Rainbow’ t-shirts.
